Based in Jackson County, Fl. Innovative Charities of Northwest Florida devotes its energy to passionately advocating for and helping the hungry, needy, and underprivileged. We are dedicated to finding new ways to help relieve suffering in our area. We work primarily in the area of food, household goods, general benevolence and now disaster relief and recovery. We collaborate with other non-profits, faith based organizations and government agencies in our area to work together to bring help to our neighbors in need

Disasters strike without much warning, so The Salvation Army is ready to jump into action on short notice. We lead long-term recovery efforts for as long as a community needs us. That often means we stay to help months, even years, after a disaster. We work with local, state, and federal governments to form a long-term disaster recovery plan.

The Chipola Baptist Association exists to proclaim the gospel and is heavily involved in Disaster Relief having an active group of volunteers ready to help when disaster strikes. We are joined together under the Lordship of Christ in order to encourage, enable, and equip our churches to be on mission for Him.

The Mennonite Disaster Service is a volunteer network that has the skills and labor needed to respond, rebuild, and restore in the wake of a disaster.

The mission of the Center for Disaster Philanthropy is to leverage the power of philanthropy to mobilize a full range of resources that strengthen the ability of communities to withstand disasters and recover equitably when they occur.

Emerald Coast Regional Council is one of ten Planning Councils created by the State of Florida to provide housing assistance support,  among various other programs, to local governments.
