Sleep in Heavenly Peace to host bed build in Marianna

*This event has been rescheduled from this Saturday, Nov. 14th to Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020.   On Dec. 12, 2020, Sleep in Heavenly Peace-Tallahassee (SHP) will take on an ambitious build in Marianna, FL of 50 bunk beds for children who are still affected by Hurricane Michael.  SHP is partnering with Volunteer Florida and Lowe’s, and will be teamed with SHP chapters from Pensacola and Ft. The Hurricane Michael Recovery Loan Program, launched September 1 offers below market 30-year fixed rate first mortgages coupled with up to $15,000 in down payment (DPA) and closing cost assistance for qualified homebuyers. DPA loans will be zero percent interest, non-amortizing and forgivable at 20 percent per year over five years.
