BLOUNTSTOWN, FL. – Legal Services of North Florida, Inc. (LSNF) will be available to provide FREE legalhelp to those still facing disaster related legal issues post Hurricane Michael. LSNF staff and volunteerattorneys will provide free advice on Wednesday, June 16th, 2021 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. CT atthe County Extension Courthouse Building (20816 Central Ave E, Blountstown, FL). Vasheda Hobbs and her three daughters’ home was destroyed by Hurricane Michael. Initially, they were able to stay with family, then found a short-term rental, but struggled to pay the high rent. Another client suggested to Vasheda that she contact the North Florida Inland LTR, so she reached out. Months later, she was selected by a review committee as one of the recipients of a new home to be constructed by AC HarvestCall. The Salvation Army covered demolition and removal of the prior structure, Capital Area Community Action Agency assisted with materials, and Chipola Baptist Association helped with furniture. On Friday, March 12, the Hobbs […]

Nowling Family
