Hobbs Family

Vasheda Hobbs and her three daughters’ home was destroyed by Hurricane Michael. Initially, they were able to stay with family, then found a short-term rental, but struggled to pay the high rent. Another client suggested to Vasheda that she contact the North Florida Inland LTR, so she reached out. Months later, she was selected by a review committee as one of the recipients of a new home to be constructed by AC HarvestCall.
The Salvation Army covered demolition and removal of the prior structure, Capital Area Community Action Agency assisted with materials, and Chipola Baptist Association helped with furniture.
On Friday, March 12, the Hobbs family was welcomed into their “forever home.” Click HERE to see a news story on the dedication.
